How often should I have my chimney inspected?
Once a year — the NFPA 211 standard recommends an annual inspection, ideally before burning season. Our on-site inspection is $99 plus tax, and it comes off the price if you approve the work — so there is no reason to put it off.
What's the cost of a chimney inspection?
Typical New Jersey inspections run $150–$500 depending on level. Ours is $99 plus tax, whatever the level — and it is deducted in full from the quote if you approve the work. The written report is yours either way.
How long does a chimney sweep take?
Most sweeps take about an hour; heavy creosote can take closer to two. We protect the room, sweep the flue, and vacuum with HEPA filtration before we leave.
